Speaking & workshops
Fresh perspectives. Powerful insights. Practical applications.
Practical, research-based talks and masterclasses for organisations, networks, conferences and communities.

What holds us back? Why do we sometimes struggle to make changes we know we need? And how much of our potential are we leaving untapped because of the way we think, the beliefs we hold or the expectations we place on ourselves?
My masterclasses bring together insights from psychology, neuroscience, behavioural science and the world of personal development to explore the challenges that affect how we think, work and live.
Engaging, thought-provoking and grounded in research, each session is designed to challenge perspectives, spark new thinking and give participants practical tools they can put into action.
Whether you're looking to inspire your team, support professional development or bring fresh thinking to your community, I'd love to work with you.
Topics available:
• Perfectionism: When is it good enough?
We often think of perfectionism as a strength. After all, high standards, attention to detail and wanting to do a good job are generally considered positive qualities. But when does striving for excellence become something that holds us back? This masterclass explores where perfectionism comes from, why it develops and how it can affect our confidence, performance, relationships and wellbeing. We'll look at the impact it can have in the workplace, from procrastination and overthinking to difficulty making decisions and a reluctance to take risks. Most importantly, we'll explore practical ways to recognise perfectionist patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking and develop a healthier relationship with achievement. Participants will gain: • A better understanding of the psychology behind perfectionism. • Insight into how perfectionist tendencies can affect performance and wellbeing. • Practical tools to challenge unhelpful patterns and behaviours. • A healthier perspective on achievement, progress and getting things done.
• Confidence and motivation: How to achieve more
You know you're capable of more. So what's stopping you? Perhaps it's self-doubt, the voice in your head questioning whether you're good enough, or the fear of getting things wrong. Perhaps you have the ability and experience but struggle to recognise your own value or find the motivation to go after what you really want. This masterclass explores what influences our confidence and motivation, why even highly capable people can struggle with self-belief and how our thoughts and behaviours can either help us move forward or keep us stuck. We'll explore the impact of our inner voice, the psychology behind imposter syndrome and the importance of agency: recognising the power we have to influence our own choices and actions. Drawing on research and practical personal development strategies, we'll look at how to challenge self-doubt, strengthen self-belief and build the confidence and motivation to take action. Participants will gain: • A better understanding of what influences confidence, self-belief and motivation. • Insight into the inner critic, negative self-talk and imposter syndrome. • Greater awareness of how self-doubt can influence decisions and hold us back. • Practical strategies to strengthen confidence, build self-trust and take action.
• Identity: How it impacts your future
Who you believe you are has a powerful influence on what you believe is possible for you. Our sense of identity shapes the choices we make, the opportunities we pursue, the boundaries we set and the ambitions we allow ourselves to have. Yet how often do we stop and question whether the person we believe ourselves to be still reflects who we are today, or who we want to become? This masterclass explores what identity really means, how it develops and the often-overlooked influence it has on our behaviour, decisions and potential. We'll look at the labels, expectations and beliefs that shape how we see ourselves, why we can become attached to familiar versions of ourselves, and what happens when the person we've been no longer fits the person we want to be. Most importantly, we'll explore the importance of consciously shaping our sense of identity and considering what we might need to leave behind to embrace new possibilities. Participants will gain: • An understanding of identity and how it influences the way we think, behave and make decisions. • Greater awareness of how beliefs, experiences and expectations shape our sense of self. • Insight into how an outdated sense of identity can limit our ambitions and potential. • An opportunity to question who they are today and consider who they want to become.
• Ready for change: Recognising when it's time for a new direction
Sometimes we know something needs to change, but knowing what to do next is another matter entirely. Perhaps you're questioning your career, feeling ready for a new challenge or simply wondering whether the life you're living is still the one you want. This masterclass explores how to recognise when it's time for a change, why we can find it so difficult to take that first step and what gets in the way of moving forward. Drawing on psychology, neuroscience and personal development research, we'll look at the emotional and psychological barriers to change, how to navigate uncertainty and how to start turning the desire for something different into meaningful action. Participants will gain: • Greater awareness of the signs that it might be time for a change. • An understanding of the psychological barriers that can keep us stuck. • Practical ways to navigate uncertainty and overcome resistance. • Ideas and strategies for identifying possible next steps and getting started.
• Bespoke presentations

About me
I'm a mentor, coach and speaker with a passion for helping people recognise their potential and make meaningful changes.
My background spans business, marketing and entrepreneurship, alongside professional training in transformational coaching. I'm particularly interested in the science of how we think, behave and make decisions, and how we can use that understanding to make better choices and create more of what we want from life and work.
My sessions combine research-backed insights with practical strategies, delivered in an engaging, energetic and accessible way. I like to challenge conventional thinking, encourage honest reflection and leave people with something useful to take away.
I believe personal development should be interesting, relevant and, occasionally, a little uncomfortable. That's often where the best conversations begin!
